From the very start of the third period the Americans tried to take the leadership in the pool, continually organizing attacks to the Australian gate, and the score 6:3 to the middle of next to last round gave to understand that they do their work perfectly. A bit later the national team in yellow-green bathing suits was succeeded to win back one goal, having reduced lag from competitors to two balls. By the end of eight-minute the strength of competitors looked equal and presaged the end in a tie.
