The second match day began with the opposition of teams of Spain and China. The current reigning world champions have been smashing the national teams of competitors for the second day in a row.
The first period passed on counter courses – 2:1. And there was no obvious leader in the first eight-minutes of the game. The fight for a ball took place firstly at one gate, then at another one.
Having crushed the team of Singapore in the first match day of competitions, the Spanish water polo players decided not to be satisfied with what has already been achieved. And the second period began with persistent fight for a ball.
However hard the bronze champions of last World Cup tried to win this game, the lag from competitors in game were increasing every minute. By the end of the period the gap between teams grew to 3 balls in favor of a team of Spain.
Though the Chinese water polo players became more active in the third period of game, the goalkeeper of Spanish national team Maria Elena Sanchez Gonzalez was resistant, though she missed two goals. The outcome of the next to last period was expected – 10:5.
Before ending of the game the Chinese water polo players reconciled to the forthcoming defeat and the remained time period kept it tight at the back.
